🚫 The US advocates for gun restrictions in Israel. According to reports, President Biden wouldn't sell firearms to Israel until it agreed to keep them out of the hands of West Bank residents. Given that Hamas poses a threat to Israel, officials considered the move to be unprecedented. This is in response to the fact that since the killing by Hamas, at least 150,000 more Israelis have filed for weapons permits than in the previous three years put together.
⚖️ Trump gives testimony in a civil fraud trial in New York. Yesterday, the former president took the stand, setting up a furious exchange of yells and arguments with the judge. Trump branded New York Attorney General Letitia James's case political and defended his business methods. Since the judge already finds him guilty, the trial is viewed as a formality that threatens his authority over his businesses.

Joe Biden's plan to end the Israel-Hamas conflict
Here is what's going on: As the Israel-Hamas war approaches its second month, President Joe Biden's public support for Israel is starting to decline.
Why it’s important: Although Biden has generally been quite pro-Israel, the actions he is urging Israel to take may allow Hamas to regroup and extend the conflict.
Private pressure: State Secretary Antony Blinken has been pressuring Israel to consent to a "humanitarian pause" in order to allow for the entry of additional supplies into Gaza and to buy time for the potential release of captives. Israel has already lifted the whole blockade and restored Gaza's internet access.
Why was it changed? Significant civilian losses are probably the cause of Biden's change in strategy toward Israel. Pressure from Muslim voters and White House staff, American diplomats, far-left members of his party, and the international community has also likely contributed to this change.
The worst part is that Biden and Obama have long wished for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to be removed from office. Partly inspired by Biden, Netanyahu's right-wing initiatives, such as reorganizing Israel's legal system, sparked conflict and controversy throughout the nation.
Biden now anticipates being removed from office shortly due to claims that he was unable to stop the Hamas attack. Reducing the pace of the battle or advocating for a final cease-fire could hasten Netanyahu's downfall.
Unprecedented: Biden even asked him what kind of lessons he would impart to his successor in a recent phone conversation.
2024 ELECTION
Independent presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Here is what's going on: Concerns are being raised about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s independent presidential candidacy on both sides of the political spectrum, but particularly inside the GOP. Recent, small surveys indicate that Republicans would be more likely to support Kennedy's third-party candidacy than Democrats.
The numbers: Kennedy appears to be the most competitive third-party candidate in recent memory, with RFK scoring a massive 22 percent in a hypothetical three-way contest against Trump (36 percent) and Biden (39 percent), according to a recent Quinnipiac poll.
Is Perot 2.0? Since Ross Perot, who many believe significantly influenced the outcome of the 1992 election, Kennedy is polling higher than any other independent candidate for president.
Pay attention to the money: A Politico study of RFK's contributors reveals a conservative tilt in his support base, with a greater proportion of contributions coming from GOP contributors than from Democrats.
Why it’s important: Even if they only gain a small proportion of the vote, third-party candidates have the power to significantly impact the result of a presidential election. (Democrats are still holding Jill Stein accountable for her part in Hillary's defeat in 2016).
Both sides: Republicans could find it more difficult to deal with RFK, but Democrats have other opponents.
The centrist organization No Labels, denounced by Nancy Pelosi as “perilous to our democracy,” is allegedly thinking about launching its own third-party presidential campaign. It is generally believed that Biden poses a greater threat to the party than Trump.

Nashville shooter’s leaked manifesto
Here is What’s going on: The transgender shooter Audrey Hale, who killed three adults and three children at a Christian school in Tennessee before being shot by police, sent images of her terrible writings to conservative commentator Steven Crowder. At least two media sources—one of which mentioned governmental employees—have attested to the authenticity of the images. Hale wrote a lot more pages that haven't been published yet.
Her motivations: Images from Hale's journal revealed her to be hateful of students at the elementary school who had "white privileges." She took issue with their "attending posh private schools" and wealthy backgrounds. "I want to kill all of you little pricks!" Hale swore.
Background: In addition to having mental health concerns, Hale had a strained connection with her Christian parents, who refused to recognize her as gay or transgender. According to investigators, she might have also been resentful at having to go to the school.
Why it's important: Hale's case illustrates both the rise of transgender extremism as evidenced by those who supported her acts and the mainstreaming of anti-White sentiment in American institutions. This is not the first recent incident where the attacker targeted White people who were thought to be privileged in order to exact retribution. The left's group-based ideology continues to incite violence against defenseless people.
Suppression: The manifesto's distribution was opposed by LGBT activists and even the parents of victims, who went on to file many legal challenges over it. After being suppressed for months by state and federal law enforcement, Nashville is now looking into the leak.
On media:
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has not yet unveiled a plan, and the US government has until November 17 to secure funds in order to prevent a shutdown.
