Elon Musk is in conflict with the international establishment

Here is what's going on: As Elon Musk rises in power and gets more politically involved, the establishment both domestically and internationally launches attacks against him.

Why it’s important: Musk is one of the few outspoken billionaires who is using his fortune to promote free speech and policies that are opposed to the world's ruling elite.

  • U.S border: Musk recently visited the southern border, criticizing the Biden administration's open border policies and advocating for broad immigration reform.

  • The Crime: Musk also slammed the recent looting in Philadelphia, comparing the United States to crime-ridden Gotham City. While progressives have found reasons to justify increased crime, retail theft has cost Americans $112 billion this year.

  • The Censorship: Musk sacked an election "disinformation" staff that worked around the clock after EU Vice President Vera Jourová chastised the corporation for failing to meet EU "moderation" criteria.

  • The Ukraine’s case: Elon Musk has publicly questioned the United States' ongoing financial assistance to Ukraine.

Reaction: Two lawsuits have been brought by the Biden administration against Musk's businesses. In the initial case, SpaceX is accused of discriminating against refugees. According to the second claim, Tesla encouraged racial discrimination against its workers.

Additionally: officials from the European Union (EU) are anticipated to look into Twitter for not adhering to the EU's Digital Services Act, which mandates that social media sites remove "disinformation." If Twitter doesn't comply, the firm might be fined up to 6% of its annual sales.

WASHINGTON D.C

The Biden impeachment investigation presents evidence.

Here is what's going on: President Joe Biden is the subject of an impeachment investigation by House Republicans, who claim that the president may be compromised by his son Hunter's business transactions in China, Ukraine, and other countries.

  • The Senate must vote to convict Biden in order to remove him from office if the House votes to impeach. This seems unlikely given the thin Democratic Senate majority.

Why it's important: In particular, the tens of millions of dollars Hunter got in foreign payments by selling access to his father, who purportedly spoke and visited with several of these businesspeople despite denying any involvement, are brought to light by these procedures, which increase public awareness of the Bidens' alleged corruption. New details were also revealed throughout the session.

The "brand": Text messages obtained by a House committee revealed Hunter referring to Joe Biden as his family's "brand" and "only asset," which appeared to be further evidence that people were paying Hunter in order to get the father's favor.

They were aware it was dubious: According to a recent FBI report, the Chinese corporation CEFC delayed sending Joe Biden's son money until after he left office out of worry that doing so would be improper given [the company's] close ties to the Chinese government.

Here’s what will happen next: The investigation has advanced thanks to a subpoena issued by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) for Hunter and James Biden's bank records. Comer hasn't said if he'll ask for the president's records yet.
