ABC News reported on Sunday that former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson declared his candidacy for president against Trump and if successful, would face President Joe Biden in the general election.

For the American people, he thinks he can be that kind of leader.

The newscaster posted saying that he has matured and gained a wealth of experience. Despite his many accomplishments He has served as a prosecutor, a member of Congress, a governor, and the director of the US. Drug Enforcement Administration, and remains mostly unknown outside of his home state of Arkansas.

He said that he has spent some time in Iowa, and the response that he gets there is what makes all the hard work and good messaging worthwhile. Thus, in many of these states, retail politics remains the primary focus. In addition, he has never experienced such a volatile political climate. He also believes that his message of experience, consistent conservatism, optimism for the future, and finding solutions to the problems facing Americans, has struck a chord. The former governor has stated his intention to actively campaign and promised to make a public statement whenever it was ready.
